The Merge Customers Form

Main Menu -- Add/Edit Customers


Use this form to merge information about one customer with another. Do the following steps:
  1. Search for and view the source customer record.
  2. Write down or copy the customer id of the source customer.
  3. Search for and view the destination customer record.
  4. Press the Merge button to bring up the form displayed above, enter or paste in the source customer id, and press "Do The Merge".
All payments, programming, program provider, receivers and service information from the source customer is merged with the destination customer; then the source customer is deleted. Secondly, any blank customer fields in the source customer record are filled in with information from the destination customer. Comments, however, are not merged.

NOTE: Move the cursor over the picture of the form. When you see the little hand thingy Hand Thingy appear, you can click on the item to get more information! Customer ID Do The Merge Cancel

Customer ID: Enter the source customer ID here..

Do The Merge: Carries out the merge and closes the form.

Cancel: Closes the form without doing the merge.
