Service Table Reference

SatTracker stores the following information about Services:

CustomerId: The number that uniquely identifies a customer. This number is used to link Service records to Customer records. Stored as a long integer.
OrderDate: This field is used to tie the service record to an order. It is automatically set to the latest order date of the customer; if there is no such date then today's date is used. If no order is found containing the order date and the customer id, a new order is automatically created. Stored as a date.
Units: The number of items the customer is purchasing. Stored as a long integer.
Cost: The cost of the item being purchased. If you leave this blank, the cost associated with the product is used. Stored as a Currency field.
LineTotal: Units * Cost. Stored as Currency field.
Product: The name of the product or service. The Products Table contains a list of products and services, with associated costs. Product is stored as a Text field with a maximum of 50 characters.
Notes: Any notes you may wish to make about this line item. Stored as a Memo field, meaning it can store more than you can type.
Who: This field is redundant since you can put the salesperson and technicians in the Orders Table using the Order Form. However, if different people were involved on a single order, you can indicate who did what here. Stored as a text field of up to 40 characters.
PayType: Not used. Stored as a text field of up to 20 characters.
