Useful Windows Stuff
did you know you can...
- simultaneously press the alt key and tab to switch between windows
- simultaneously press the control key and C to copy
- simultaneously press the control key and V to paste
- simultaneously press the windows Key and 'E' to run the internet explorer
- simultaneously press the windows key and 'D' to display the desktop
- use the right mouse button to bring up useful menus. For example, press windows-D to get to the desktop, and right click on an unoccupied area. You will see a pop-up menu, with one item being 'properties'. You can change your screen resolution, background, etc. from this menu. Another useful example is to press Windows-E to bring up the windows explorer. Select a file name, and click the right mouse button. You can copy, rename, etc. the file using this menu.
